New Patients
We look forward to welcoming you to our practice. To register today, please complete one of the online forms below. If you will be spending the majority of your time in York, we advise you complete the new patient registration, this will mean you are fully registered for the duration of your time at York St Johns University .
If you are registered as a “New Patient” then you have access to the full range of NHS services while studying in York, this includes GP, nurse and vaccination appointments. If you are registered as a “Temporary Patient” then we are only able to provide emergency GP appointments and vaccinations for the Health Science students. We are unable to provide routine appointments with a GP or Nurse if you are registered as a “temporary patient”. Routine appointments are for general health queries, diagnoses, and monitoring of conditions such as asthma or diabetes. If you’re living in York for the duration of your studies it’s recommended that you register as a New Patient.

THE TEMPORARY REGISTRATION FORM SHOULD ONLY BE USED WHEN ADVISED TO DO SO BY A MEMBER OF OUR RECEPTION TEAM. PLEASE VISIT THE SURGERY TO COMPLETE.
